The cost of poor mental health to UK employers is up to £45billion, this is a 16% increase since 2017.  

This is made up of absence costs of around £7bn, presenteeism costs ranging from about £27bn to £29bn and turnover costs of around £9bn.

How is Coronavirus affecting your staff?

Three steps to a Healthier Happier Business

Step 1 - Select a service right for you 

Workshop programme (virtual or face to face)

Workshop 1 - An overview of what a Healthier Happier You can feel like.

Workshop 2 - How to find more Me Time to develop a positive mindset.

Workshop 3 - The importance of Sleep & Rest.

Workshop 4 - Fuelling & Hydrating our bodies and mind.

1:1 mentor sessions
I will work with the employees that you decide you want to offer this service to for an agreed number of sessions. We will measure the impact along the journey.

Drop in clinics
I will be with your company on an agreed date each month and this is then offered to all staff as an employee benefit. Individuals will book a time slot.

Team Building events
I will work with a team towards a goal event (bike, run or walk event for example).

Step 2 - Identify who 

Through engaging with you we will identify key teams and/or individuals to work with. You may want to offer specific support for example to any of the following or offer this as a general benefit to all employees based on a drop in model:


  • Returning Mums
  • Those coming up for retirement
  • Individuals being made redundant
  • As part of a leadership and management programme
  • New starters, apprentices, managers
  • Employees returning from furlough
  • To support the return to office working
  • Those who have mental health challenges

Step 3 - Creating Healthier Happier You plans 

All employees will have a plan which will look holistically across the areas of sleep/rest, hydration/nutrition, exercise/movement & mindfulness/mental strength.  

The plan will be updated after each session and will include the individuals commitment to the tiny habits which they will implement to support their journey to becoming healthier and happier versions of themselves.  The plan will also include useful links to podcasts, books or other things that will support their own journey.

All sessions will be delivered on the move where possible because we want to get people active as much as possible. Time is often the biggest challenge people face so this way we are killing two birds with one stone every session. When this is not possible then sessions can take place face to face or virtually.
